FearYou said you would call me tonight, and now the phone is ringing. My chest is rising and falling quickly, clenching tighter with each ring. What will you say to me? I feel apprehensive; something bad is definitely coming. Your effect on me couldn’t be any stronger and I couldn’t be any more frightened. Like falling down stairs, or breathing heavily after being chased, I listen to it ring. I’m unable to control my hands, and as each second ticks by, the ringing becomes more incessant.
